Matching Art Deco Bedside Tables
These Art Deco bedside tables were originally the ends of a dressing table – but they had been separated from the middle section many years ago. Whilst they retained much of their original beauty – stunning carved details and iconic curves – there were many tell-tale signs that hinted at their original existence – missing back panels where the central mirror would have been, marked and damaged wood where the central section had been attached, random nails sticking out and holes from screws that had been removed. Repairs were needed! They have been painted in a custom blended dusky pink and muted blue with copper detail, and decoupaged in ‘Deco Martini’ by Divine Savages. The exposed wood has been sanded and oiled and the carved details picked out with metallic wax. These bedside tables were the final pieces of a 4 part bedroom commission.
