    Hi Imogen,
I picked up one of your advertising cards sometime back, when I was exhibiting my art work in the VAC gallery Open Art competition in Northwich. I have my own interest and enthusiasm in upcycling furniture for some years, therefore when I read your card It enlightened my intrigue and curiosity. This led me to having a look at your style and creativity and particularly the materials you use to achieve your customised furniture.. I have to say, I was blown away with the detail and quality finish. I immediately admired your work. I have been using some of the materials you stated on your furniture i.e Fusion paints and Emma Shipley for Clarke & Clarke wallpaper. I am very particular when it comes to achieving a satisfactory finish and I have to admit I have, on many occasions, used cheaper materials. Anyway, down to why I am sending this message to you… I was wondering if you would consider me visiting your Workshop and sharing some time to talk over upcycling techniques and learning? I appreciate you will have a busy schedule but if you could give me possibly, 10 minutes of your time, it would be invaluable to me and most of all I would sincerely appreciate it. After retiring I have been actively pursuing my interest in Art. I achieved A level photography, attended Chester University taking a Degree in Fine Art and twice had my artwork chosen to be displayed in the Grosvenor Open
Art Competition. However, I am always drawn back to upcycling furniture and I truly feel that this is the direction I see my future work going. I realise it is a big request and if you say no I completely understand and accept your response. But I felt it was just worth a try as I am sure you would understand. As the saying goes ” If you don’t give it a go you will never know”!!
    Kindest regards
    Marilea
